We work towards improving the health of sex workers in Uganda and breaking the vicious cycle of mother-to-daughter prostitution by establishing and running health cafés in red-light areas and providing education accessibility to their daughters.
We envision a Uganda where sex workers have access to quality healthcare and where daughters are no longer bound to the same cycle — supported by health cafés and improved access to education.
Through Her Tomorrow, we provide educational opportunities to daughters of HIV-positive sex workers — supporting primary, secondary, and higher education to break cycles of poverty and exploitation.
Rhythm of Life acknowledges that containing spread of and fatality resulting from HIV/AIDS requires the courage to tackle challenging social issues, the commitment to making long-term investments, and a preparedness to go beyond existing measures. As an organization, we view HIV/AIDS not only as a health problem, but also a product of — and exacerbated by — human rights violations.

Through Her Tomorrow, we provide educational opportunities to daughters of HIV-positive sex workers — supporting primary, secondary, and higher education. We also run health cafés in red-light areas offering confidential healthcare and peer support, so no woman or girl is left behind.
I emphasize the importance of empowering women socially and economically because it significantly contributes to the growth and progress of families, communities, and nations.
We are a team of passionate professionals with practical skills we use in our activities and a wealth of strong values that lead us.Rhythm of Life is a non-profit organization formed in 2013. Currently, we run health outreaches in the red light districts of Kampala (Uganda) for HIV-positive sex workers. In time, our aim is to build a permanent health cafe in Kampala for these women who have / are facing stigma and exclusion from healthcare.
